We all do have a desire to stay healthy and live longer. It sounds great in theory, but the truth is, to actually get down to living a healthier life with diet and exercise, many of us fall short. It can be a lot more difficult that in sounds. If you want to stay healthy, maybe this article will help to motivate you a little. I’m going to be talking about a few things that can be cured or at least eased and helped, simply by eating the correct foods. It’s not difficult either, it just requires a little knowledge about what is in the food that we are putting into our bodies. Finding a natural cure for headache or eating a scientific diet is all well and good but here is an easy way to get started and stay healthy with your diet practices.

Acne is a problem that we all face from time to time. We’d love to leave it all behind in our teenage years but unfortunately it comes back during pregnancy, menopause, stressful times and whenever else it please. Well, according to research these are the foods that help prevent and even treat acne.

  1. Spinach.
  2. Cocoa
  3. Salmon
  4. Carrots
  5. Spirulina

Having problems going to sleep? You’ve heard that warm milk can make you sleepy but in reality, it’s actually any dairy product that can help. The calcium helps the tryptophan to create the sleep inducing melatonin that we need.

High cholesterol can cause a lot of problems so eat oatmeal and high fiber foods such as

  2. prunes
  3. apples
  4. pears

These will help with the absorption of cholesterol in your blood.

There are certain foods that have been proven to help with how intense a headache is and sometimes make it go away altogether. These foods include:

Basically any food that contains mono sodium glutamate, also known as MSG if very helpful for a headache remedy. Of course, lack of water and sleep are two of the main reasons for headaches as well.

Foods can also help with emotional issues like stress, anxiety or depression. Many times these feelings are because of a deficiency in a certain vitamin. Eating foods rich in B vitamins like folic acid and B12 can quickly reverse those affects.

There is definitely a place for doctors, hospitals and medicines but if so many things can be cured with how we eat, maybe if we change the way we eat to include these products, we would have less trouble with sickness and pain. It’s amazing how the body can react to certain vitamins and minerals in the food. It’s all very chemical and scientific when you think about it.
